Woodboro was acquired by Alliance Care Homes Limited in 2016. It is the sixth care home to be purchased within the company and our first home to support our elderly community.

Throughout 2016 Woodboro was fully refurbished to a very high standard. The emphasis of the home is to be as dementia friendly as possible.
This includes prominent colours to distinguish between living areas, personalised doors to bedrooms, clear signage, dementia friendly furniture and profile beds to promote independence, whilst ensuring at all times a home from home feeling.

Our aim is to provide the necessary care and support within a secure and caring atmosphere whilst respecting privacy and promoting independence at all times. We can accommodate short and long stays.

Alliance Care Homes Limited was established in 1998 by Paul and Laraine Wilkinson. Since then the company has grown to 6 care homes. Along with Woodboro, there is Haven Lodge and Fairview in Clacton on Sea, Norcot, Blenheim House and Epworth Lodge in Rhyl, North Wales.

Throughout the growth of the company, Paul and Laraine have ensured a ‘family’ feel to all the homes and are actively involved in the running of the homes. Alliance Care & Support Limited, a domiciliary care agency, was established in 2011 of which Laraine is the Registered Care Manager.
