Welcome to Winsford House, our luxurious Care Home for the elderly, offering personalised, individually tailored residential care, dementia care, respite care and day care.

The Home is nestled in a peaceful area of Clacton-on-Sea, an idyllic seaside town on the sunshine coast with award winning beaches and stunning seafront gardens.

At Winsford House, all of our bedrooms are large and spacious, with an en-suite and the Home provides care for 38 residents. All rooms are wheelchair accessible with television and telephone.
We encourage all residents to personalise their rooms with their own accessories. As well as having your own personal space, we have two spacious lounges, a separate dining area and a well trained team of dedicated staff to provide 24-hour support.

Winsford House was originally built in 1903 as a home for business men’s families who fell on hard times. It became a home for the elderly 30 years ago.
