Winchester House recognises the intrinsic value of people and all deserve and receive complete and utter respect.

Winchester House accommodates a maximum of nine older people, including people who live with dementia or a dementia related condition, in one residential style building which has been adapted for that purpose. Winchester House is a large detached house situated on a main road in a residential area of Kirby Cross, Frinton on Sea, and is close to local shops. The premises is set out on the ground floor of the building with each person using the service having their own individual bedroom and adequate communal facilities are available for people to make use of within the service

Winchester House is a small residential elderly care home which was established in 1987. We have a very good reputation locally for excellent quality care. Most of our residents come to us from recommendations from local doctors, nurses, visiting friends and family members, and by word of mouth which we are proud of.

At Winchester House our aim is to provide our residents with support and attention. We pride ourselves on being able to create a homely atmosphere whilst respecting the privacy, independence and dignity of all of our residents.

First class accommodation, a friendly atmosphere, social interaction and daily activities all contribute to a fulfilling and relaxing lifestyle.

Soon after our residents arrive, we put together a personal plan by speaking to our residents. We are able to set out their needs and ask them about any personal preferences they might have, so we can tailor our care to their unique needs.
