Welcome to Turner Road Surgery. We are a flexible, family-friendly NHS doctor's surgery. We are currently registering new patients. We are open 08:00 - 18:30, Monday to Friday. Turner Road Surgery is based in the Primary Care Centre on Turner Road, Colchester, next to Colchester General Hospital. There is a regular bus service from the town centre and parking available on site.

We provide appointments both in advance and on the day and have a duty doctor available for urgent matters We have a range of healthcare professionals at the centre who can help you, from doctors and nurses to healthcare assistants. When you register as a patient with us you can take advantage of our full range of services. You can choose a male or female health professional, giving you complete confidence. You can also book same day appointments. These are released at 08:00 each day for non-routine issues. You can also book in advance to see a GP of your choice, and appointments can be booked up to four weeks in advance.

We offer telephone consultations and have an online booking system and SMS text messaging service. SystmOnline allows you to book appointments, order repeat prescriptions and view your medical record online. SystmOnline is also available as an app, which can be used on Apple devices (iPhones and iPads) and on Android devices (mobile phones and tablets).
