Seven Rivers is set in seven acres of beautiful grounds in the small village of Great Bromley. Home for 29 adults with physical disabilities, we’re a short walk from pubs, shops and a garden centre. Clacton, Harwich, Ipswich and Colchester are all nearby, so there’s plenty to enjoy – especially the seaside.

Our residents make sure their home has a lively atmosphere. At their request, we offer a wide range of activities from computer classes and cooking to quizzes and art. We sometimes welcome visiting entertainers and we also hold events including discos, fêtes, fun days, bonfire nights, fundraisers and themed parties.

Our fully-trained staff work hard to ensure everyone is happy in their home. We pride ourselves on putting our residents first, supporting everybody to be independent and to take part in community activities as they wish.

Seven Rivers delivers high quality care and nursing for adults with physical disabilities and complex needs. Regulated by the Care Quality Commission, the dedicated and experienced team use a person-centred approach to ensure every individual’s needs are understood and met with the greatest privacy, dignity and respect.

Each individual chooses how they are supported, and lead very active lives. With a focus on independence, health, wellbeing and skills building, extensive activity programmes offer something for everyone. As well as staff, a team of committed volunteers support individual and group activities, so all have the chance to be social, get creative or enjoy exercise.
