Ridgewell House is small, independent and family run. It has been a home away from home for many elderly individuals since 1985. It is nestled in a quiet residential road in Holland On Sea, moments walk from the sea. Shops, cafes and other amenities are all close by.

In its 34 years it has maintained a reputation for good quality care in a small home setting.  There is a total of 16 individual rooms over two floors. There is a large garden and a short walk from the seafront.  Dulwich Road is a quiet residential street making it an ideal home from home environment. Keen gardeners are welcome. As well as those living with Dementia. You can arrange a visit or just drop in to have a look.

Staff are carefully chosen and the majority have been with the home for more than 5 years, many have been supporting residents for over 10 years. This summer they will celebrate one member of staff supporting residents for 20 Years!

Ridgewell house is truly a home away from home, with only 16 residents to care for, it is perfectly placed to offer individualised service.

Everything can be tailor-made, two cooks provide homemade menus with options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Families are welcome to visit for mealtimes and are encouraged to join in activities and outings. Rooms are on the ground and first floor and a stair lift is available.

Residents can bring in furniture and decorate rooms. Pets can be accommodated. Respite care is available, short term respite inquiries are welcome, Ridgewell House has long been a destination for long weekend respite care. Family members and carers have attended family weddings and taken long weekend breaks knowing that their loved ones are looked after and in safe hands.
