We are able to provide a service for Adults with a learning disability, physical impairment, complex needs and Mental health conditions who require a residential placement. They can learn new skills with some being able to eventually move on to supported living in the community or on the Peter House site. On the Peter House site we have 6 self-contained flats swell as the 10 bed residential home.

We offer life skills and various activities within the home. There is the use to a mini bus and other vehicle for resident’s outings and off site activities including access a local college, sensory centre and hydro-therapy pool. There is also a bus stop which is a 15 minute walk from the home which has easy access to Clacton, Colchester and other surrounding towns. We are able to offer a flexible service and placements that can be adapted and developed to genuinely meet individual need.

Peter House sits on 8 acres of beautiful green land and forestry which offers gardening activities, the opportunity for residents to grow fruit and vegetables and a general nice settling for outside pursuits.

All staff at Peter House either hold or are working towards an NVQ (QCF Diplomas) qualification, with the majority holding level 3. All of the training and education provided to our staff is specifically designed to meet our resident’s needs, the company has its own in house trainer and all staff are trained by a behaviour specialist in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)

The Company has an excellent reputation in the industry for providing high quality person centred care and residency for individuals with often highly complex or challenging needs. Some of the Company’s current clients having experienced several placement breakdowns before Aldanat Care provided their service, and have settled and developed in the environments we provide.
