Oracle Dental Group was created in 1994 by founders Nick Barker and Hayden Dixon whose aim is to provide high quality dental care for the people of Colchester. Situated at our Colchester site on Bromley Road the practice rapidly expanded from two to four surgeries as our patient base increased. In 2002 we purchased a practice in the beautiful village of Coggeshall. Then in 2011 we added (The Studio) at the rear of the Bromley Road practice to provide another six surgeries.

We have a wonderful team of dentists, therapists and hygienists supported by highly trained nurses, many of whom have extended duty qualifications themselves, all focused on delivering the best quality of care to you, our patients. In 2007 we teamed up with the University of Essex to provide mentoring, teaching and practice-based learning for student hygienists and have seen many graduate and move on to successful practice in their own right. University of Essex has steadily increased their placement with us so that we now have dental therapists and postgraduate masters students being trained and educated at our Colchester site.

At Oracle Dental Group we take education very seriously and encourage those from bottom to top to work towards the next qualification. Both Nick and Hayden have Masters Degrees and promote teaching and learning as a lifelong pursuit.
