Oaklands is a 14 bedded Residential Care Home for Elderly People. It has been operating in Brightlingsea for more than two decades. We took over its ownership in March 2018 and have made significant improvements to the staffing as well as the infrastructure.

Oaklands is a place which aims to enable our residents to live happy comfortable lives supported by trained staff who truly care and take pride in what they do.

The efforts of our amazing staff resulted in us being awarded a GOOD in ALL the domains assessed by the Care Quality Commission

We are run by an excellent experienced manager who has built a great team around her. Our staff are all fully trained and certified in the various aspects of Care above the basic requirements.
More importantly, we have tried to ensure that the people who work at Oaklands are truly caring and fit in with the family atmosphere we have established. Almost all our staff live in the local area and are part of the amazing Brightlingsea community.
