Our caring team, many of whom live in local areas such as Harwich, Dovercourt and Colchester, provide thoughtful, tender care and support to people who require day care, residential care, residential dementia care and end of life care. We are proud of our reputation for passion and excellence, both in the quality of the care we provide as well as in our extensive facilities.

At Lime Court, we provide a range of opportunities to socialise, keep active and enjoy wonderful nutritious meals – all with the aim of ensuring our residents remain happy, engaged and healthy.

Our active involvement in new initiatives that further improve the residents’ quality of life has seen great results. We were among the first home to pilot the ‘Food First’ programme to boost nutrition and we regularly promote fun ways to keep fit through various activities and our annual Sports Day, which is enjoyed by residents, visitors and team members alike!

Lime Court is part of the Excelcare group. Excelcare was proudly established in 1989 as a family-run business. We are still family-run to this day, and instil our family values onto our colleagues, the people we care for, their relatives and friends.

We provide high quality, person-centred care at 33 individual and unique care homes situated in Cambridge, Essex, London and Milton Keynes. We also operate a home care service in these areas.
