Frintondene is a small family run residential home for 8 Residents, situated off the seafront in Third Avenue. We have been established since 1991 with the aim of giving a home for life to people over 65 years of age, so that they can live in a safe and homely environment, where they can live as independently as they are able, in comfort, privacy and cared for as individuals, to follow their own pursuits and hobbies.

We have 1 double and 6 single rooms all with en-suite facilities. All rooms are large, bright and airy, complete with TV's, phone sockets and furnished to a very comfortable standard. Residents can also bring their own furniture if preferred.

We offer a high standard of food, sourcing all our fresh produce locally with all meals freshly cooked daily and served immediately. Residents are given a choice of menu at all meals. Diet is an important part of a resident’s wellbeing and so the resident is always offered nutritious healthy food and special diets are catered for including diabetic and vegetarian.

Residents are encouraged to go out regularly for walks or into town. We have wheelchairs and staff take residents out as often as they wish to do some shopping or just a walk on the beach. There are many clubs in Frinton, day centre, bridge club, Frinton theatre, church groups which residents are free to join. Transport is available or can be arranged for these outings.

Our aim is to provide for the health, safety and social needs of all the residents with professionalism compassion and experience. To care for them as individuals, giving them independence, dignity, privacy and choices in a homely, caring, safe environment. To give them and their relatives peace of mind and a happy, healthy life, free from the worries of living alone and trying to run their own home.
