Ewer Court is a residential care home for disabled adults with complex care needs in Colchester, Essex.
Ewer Court provides a high level of support to enable our customers to meet their personal goals and future aspirations.

What we provide is different for each customer, based on their needs and wishes. We provide fully-staffed support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including waking night care for those with complex health needs.
For us, it’s more than just accommodation and personal care. Our service provides a safe and supportive environment where customers can meet their personal aspirations and pursue their future goals. Staff will enable and empower customers in all aspects of their life, including decision-making, skill development and self-advocacy.

Every customer has a unique support plan. This can include both regular, daily and ‘as required’ activities, such as support with personal care, meal preparation, shopping, access to sports, volunteering and leisure activities.
Customers are encouraged to be involved in making decisions about how the service is run, including arranging activities, decorating the home and days out. If the customer wishes, friends and family are encouraged to be involved.

Ewer Court consists of three individual apartments. The apartments each have a living area, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom which are tailored to each customer’s needs. All apartments are fully accessible. The property has level access throughout and are equipped with specialised beds and hoists. Outside there is access to a shared garden and summer house. Permit parking is available at the rear of the properties.

Ewer Court is part of Ambito Care & Education, they provide personalised support to children and adults with a range of physical and learning disabilities, including Cerebral Palsy and complex health needs.
