The Corner House Care Ltd is an award winning care home based in Clacton on Sea, Essex, in the Tendring area. We are long established and reputable, with an understanding of important factors which make a home outstanding for our elderly residents.

The Home is beautifully furnished, set in charming landscaped gardens, close to the sea. We are registered for 57 and have mainly single “light & airy” en-suite rooms. We also have a few double rooms & are the current first choice of most couples in our locality.

We provide quality 24 hour individualised care in a homely & luxurious environment, whether for the long term or for respite. Our residents are at the forefront of everything we do, from offering delicious meals & choices, to loving care, in building friendships & understanding unique needs.

The Corner House has a vibrant atmosphere, full of activities & where visitors play an important role in making this “Home” for our residents.

We have an ethos to be a front runner by undertaking new initiatives which will improve the lives of our residents. This is demonstrated by us piloting & having strong associations with new national and local projects over the years.

At The Corner House, we understand the importance of residents stimulation, both in mind and body. We feel we can offer our residents opportunities to be fulfilled and happy, & do as little or as much as they like. We understand our residents are individuals.

Activities are fun, varied & exciting. Our activities coordinator organises the daily activities on reflection of what the residents want. She is also responsible for leading in our award winning initiative by managing volunteers & engaging the community.
