Age Well East launch Christmas ‘Get Creative’ competition
Today we visited Hamilton Primary School to launch our Christmas appeal. Kelly from our fundraising team delivered an assembly to talk about how we are working hard to tackle loneliness across Essex and to share the details of our Christmas ‘Get Creative’ competition. Kelly thoroughly enjoyed visiting the school and was absolutely blown away by how engaged the children were and was delighted to see such enthusiasm from them when talking about brightening someone’s day during the festive period.
One part of Age Well East’s Christmas Appeal ‘Help us Combat Loneliness this Christmas’ is an initiative aimed at younger children who would like to design a Christmas themed poem, share a Christmas joke, write a short festive story, or design a festive picture. These masterpieces will be shared with our clients and people In later years living in our communities across Essex.
