The King and Queen Consort’s visit marks our town’s recent city status, as part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Members of our Walking Group were amongst those of all ages who wrapped up and lined the streets to await the arrival of King Charles and Camilla, who attended a reception at nearby Colchester Castle – a regular destination for the Walking Group, who admire the regular changing planting schemes within Caste Park, which helped inspire our Platinum Jubilee patio planters.
